Hop's Reef is dedicated toward the salt water and reef tank hobby. The purpose of Hop's Reef is to share the setup and progress of my 300-gallon in-wall system and to get quality information out to hobbyists based on personal experience and fact rather that rumor and misinformation that is sometimes found in the hobby.  I am not a chemist, biologist or engineer. I am, however, a dedicated hobbyist that wants to see the hobby progress to the next step while keeping a humane and positive approach to the hobby. Oh did I mention this is supposed to be fun?
