The Skimmer sits on the counter of the wetroom near the ATO container.

The skimmer measures 48" tall, has an 8" body and a 4.5" neck. The skimmer is fed via a Eheim 1262 pump that sits in the sump. The skimmer uses two Gen-X 6000 pumps which I upgraded with Euro-Reef needle wheel impellers. I'm guessing that the skimmer pulls about 1400lph, with approximately 400gph water flow-through, or slightly over 1.25 times the system volume per hour.

As seen in the picture, a 40 watt Pentair Aquatics UV is plumbed in line with the skimmer feed. This is in order for the items killed by the sterilizer to be removed from the water column by the skimmer.
